The Legendary History of Las Vegas

Before movies such as The Hangover, 21, and Ocean’s Thirteen, there were the classics such as Viva Las Vegas, Casino, and the original Ocean’s Eleven. Before the phrase “What happens in Las Vegas..” there were characters such as Wayne Newton, Elvis Presley, and the Rat Pack who depicted the rise of a cultural movement starting as early as the 1920′s and the birth of an entire city, the legendary Las Vegas, Nevada. Before the decadence and opulence of the strip there was the glitz and the glamour of Fremont Street. Before Las Vegas hotels, there were the casinos. Infographic Design: A+

This infographic has one of the best designs I have seen in a while. I think the header title image is great and will catch anyone’s eye. The images that are used are iconic and showcase some of the best people who have performed in Las Vegas. The timeline along the side helps to give readers an understanding of when each event took place. I cannot say enough about the design of this infographic.

Infographic Information: A+

The information is nice and historical giving readers a look back at some of Las Vegas’ biggest moments. We all know it as Sin City but here we can see how it has changed through the years. I think this information will give readers a better understanding of the infamous city called Las Vegas.
