Infographic Review

Infographic Design: B

I like the design for this infographic because it actually leads you through a queuing line as it shares information on lines. The information stem from the line as it moves down the page. I like the bright yellow color on the grey background. The yellow and the blue give the infographic a pop of color. The title at the top is large and clearly states what the infographic is about. I am not a fan of the grey writing on the grey background, I would have chosen a brighter color to make it easier for readers to see.

Infographic Information: B+

The information does a great job of explaining the different types of lines as well as terminology that are used to discuss queuing. The infographic really made the point that queues are in place to provided crowd control and there are many ways to this including using stanchions and crowd control barriers. These things help to ensure that people are moved along efficiently and in a fair manner. I was surprised by the amount of science that is put into queuing and line development.
