While there are many differences between search marketing and social media, and each has its strengths, both are essential in marketing today. Interestingly, they take on exponentially more power when marketers use them together. Take a look at how these two online methods measure up on their own and in sync.

Infographic Scorecard

Infographic Design: A+

Everything you want in the design of your infographic. Fun illustrations of quirky wrestlers that represent organic search and social media make this a fun and informative infographic. A bright orange color works well with red highlights and muted blue headlines. Fonts are varied but not too overwhelming and add a textual color to the whole piece. Just a nice, nice job with attention to detail and clever illustrations. Kudos!

Infographic Information: A-

Some statistics and facts I certainly wasn’t aware of and that makes it a worthwhile read in my book. While the answer is truly that you should do both social media and organic search marketing, it is helpful to see how each can impact any marketing campaign.
