Every year, dozens of reports are released that explain what is happening in the Canadian residential mortgage market. After going through various reports this spring, RateHub.ca compiled the data released by Canada’s two mortgage authorities and designed an infographic to share with their readers.

With data pulled from CMHC’s 2013 Mortgage Consumer Survey and CAAMP’s Change in the Canadian Mortgage Market, RateHub.ca outlined the good, the bad and the ugly things happening in Canada’s mortgage market. How many buyers are using mortgage brokers? Who is going fixed? And who is taking advantage of their prepayment options? Take a look at what they found.
